Accessible Counselling
Created as a bridge to support individuals who are experiencing financial hardship, have limited benefits, or are just looking for a lower cost therapeutic choice while maintaining a high quality of care. Our accessible counselling program provides sliding scale and pro bono opportunities.

About accessible counselling
Our Accessible Counselling program was created to meet the need for affordable counselling services while continuing to maintain high quality care. Supervised by our senior practitioners, our accessible counselling is available to anyone, regardless of your financial situation.
Our accessible counselling therapists are Masters level practicum therapist from various colleges, where the final part of their Masters degree is to complete an 8 month practicum. Whether they are working towards becoming Registered Psychologists, Registered Social Workers or Canadian Certified Counsellors, you are able to access counselling support this week.
Our supervisors bring over 20 years of combined experience in the field, ensuring high quality guidance. With their extensive knowledge and ongoing support, students can confidently navigate their counselling journey and develop essential skills for their future careers.
Our accessible counselling is available during the week with both day and evening availability, including both in person and virtual options. On Saturdays we offer pro-bono counselling on a first come first serve basis. Yes, free counselling every single Saturday!
Our team provides supervision to a minimum of 2 Masters level practicum students at a time, ensuring there is always immediate availability to support you.
Our current practicum therapists offer support for children, youth, adults and couples who are looking for support with depression, anxiety, grief, loss, life changes, relationship concerns and more.
"Entering therapy was like entering a world of love and compassion. It felt comforting to finally interact with someone who would be with me in my darkness, listen to me and reach out to the part of me that wanted to live"
~ Hedda Riktor
